KIDS EVENT: BOOK TOUR/WORKSHOP
It’s storytime with Danielle Krysa! Author of “How To Spot An Artist”, Danielle will be reading her latest children’s book, "ART and JOY - Best Friends Forever". It's a story about two best friends, Art and Joy, who love being creative — until the Art Bully shows up and starts putting doubts in Art's ear! After we’ve read the story (and had a few sweet treats), we’ll roll up our sleeves and make some of the projects from the back of the book — like turning boring grey rocks into chubby green pickles, for example! Fun and silly, and not an Art Bully in sight!

ADULT EVENT: BOOK TOUR/WORKSHOP
A circle storytime for grown-ups? Yes! Of course, the milk and cookies will be replaced with wine and cheese! After reading the story, and a short talk by the author, Danielle Krysa aka The Jealous Curator, we’ll roll up our sleeves and make some of the projects from the back of the book — painted macaroni necklaces, for example! Fun, fun, fun — and a great reminder that you should always have JOY by your side, no matter what the art bullies (ie. critics, inner critics, trolls, etc) have to say!

EXPLORING PATTERNS WITH LUCHA RODRIGUEZ
EXPLORING PATTERNS - y un poco de Español!
Learn how to create visual patterns while introducing a few Spanish words to your vocabulary as you follow along. This is an introductory workshop exploring the power of repetition, rhythm, and mark-making. Participants will develop drawings of their very own gestural marks and pattern compositions on paper. All are welcome, no previous Spanish language knowledge or drawing experience is required.
SUPPLIES: paper, markers, colored pencils, glue sticks.

HYPNO WORKSHOP: EXTREME RELAXATION - Exploring deep Trance State
In this workshop participants will be guided through a progressive deep-body relaxation hypnosis session to release all their tension, stress, and exhaustion allowing them to double down on feeling good and relaxed. Participants will also learn a quick self-hypnosis technique they can practice at home to increase their sense of well-being. All are welcome.

The search for the right size in lingerie can feel like an impossible mission with uncomfortable pinching, poking underwires, too-narrow straps, too-wide straps, band riding up, unsightly bulging and more. You may have come to the point where you want to throw in the towel, admit defeat and buy white, cream and black sports bras and wear them for the rest of your existence. DON'T! Level up your top drawer with Maddie Kulig, founder of Madalynne Intimates, for a fun workshop on how to make a size, gender-inclusive bralette. Students will learn how to measure/fit/find their correct size, what is a good and bad fit, working with lingerie fabrics and trims, caring for your intimates, and more. That's not all! Students will also sew a bralette from start to finish in just a few hours!

SEW FAR SEW GOOD - Beginner's Embroidery
Discover how you enjoy this medium by spending the day exploring colors and thread. In a non-traditional way, you will learn the fundamental stitches and color-blending. You will learn how to prepare fabric and all the tips and tricks from an accidental professional. With your full take-home kits, you can carry on with your sewing journey. No experience needed.

BEGINNER’S EMBROIDERY WITH DANIELLE CLOUGH
STRING THEORY - Intermediate abstract embroidery workshop
Over the course of three days, we will discover basic color theory and how to create color palettes from items you love. We will learn to apply these by exploring color-blending, explore different techniques and materials. Our final piece will be created through our own image, using collage to break free of the pressure of perfection, and indulging in play and exploration. In this class, you will discover your own voice in this amazing threaded medium and go home with a juice, bespoke kit.
Basic to advanced sewing experience is required.
ADVANCED EMBROIDERY WITH DANIELLE CLOUGH
BEGINNER'S GUIDE: This workshop's aim is to create a brave and empowering space for a community to come together and dive deeper into themselves amongst the group. The ultimate goal is to reconnect with self through guided journaling, community and bravery. 2-3 hour workshop.
